Who is this treatment suitable for?
This approach helps with chronic respiratory conditions and fatigue. Click on the terms to find out more:
COPD
COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) is characterised by a chronic cough with morning phlegm, initially only from time to time, but later on a daily basis. What initially appears to be a chronic cough is, in fact, already COPD. This is accompanied by shortness of breath, initially only on exertion, but later also at rest. The condition develops gradually over several years and is often not diagnosed until a late stage. At that point, the main aim is to prevent the disease from progressing further.
Asthma
Asthma causes episodes of breathlessness and a tightness in the chest. Chronic inflammation of the airways causes them to narrow and fill with mucus, preventing air from passing through unhindered. This is why a wheezing sound is often heard, and the thick mucus is coughed up, particularly at night and in the mornings. Asthma attacks are triggered by various external factors.
Fatigue syndrome
Chronic fatigue syndrome is characterized by persistent physical exhaustion and tiredness, often accompanied by pain and unrestful sleep.
Cardiovascular diseases
Cardiovascular diseases is, once again, an umbrella term for everything to do with the circulatory system or the heart. The range is very broad; it includes, for example, high blood pressure, dizziness, circulatory problems, circulatory disorders, and all heart-related conditions and operations.
